Every check starts with an identity-verified candidate — the person scans a government photo ID and passes a live face match, so the searches run on the right human. Plus adds a 7-year county criminal search. Everything below can be added when the role, the insurer, or the regulator calls for it.

Who actually runs the searches.
vID verifies the candidate's identity and routes the work. The searches themselves are fulfilled by 28 PBSA-accredited screening providers in Cerebrum's partner network — CRAs like JDP, NCSI, 3rd Degree Screening, DataFacts, and SimpliVerified — with county-court confirmation through TazWorks when a database hit needs a primary source.
